Haverford Leads Way on Spring Academic Honor Roll

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Centennial Conference has announced the 2018 Spring Academic Honor Roll. Haverford found itself once again leading the way with 114 recipients from its eight teams who compete in the Centennial Conference during the spring season. The academic honor roll recognizes sophomores, juniors and seniors who have a 3.40 cumulative grade point average or higher.

In addition to having the most overall recipients from the spring season, Haverford had two teams with the most individuals honored among those sports: men's tennis (14 recipients); men's lacrosse (22 recipients). Women's tennis (seven recipients), women's lacrosse (13 recipients), men's outdoor track & field (24 recipients), women's outdoor track & field (18 recipients), and softball (six recipients) were each second among in their respective sports.

Additionally, 32 of the 118 individuals throughout the Centennial Conference who were named to both the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll and their All-Centennial Conference team were Haverford student-athletes. That included lacrosse players Ben Frost and Allie Gibbons who were each named the Centennial Conference Scholar-Athletes of the Year in their sport.
