114 Fords Named to Centennial Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll

Centennial Conference Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College athletic department was well-represented with 114 student-athletes named to the Centennial Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. The academic honor roll recognizes sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have a 3.40 cumulative grade point average or higher.

Women's tennis (8 recipients) and women's lacrosse (18 recipients) each had the most representatives among their sport within the conference. Every single player on the women's tennis team who was eligible as a sophomore, junior, or senior was named to the academic honor roll this semester. Men's tennis (12 honorees), men's lacrosse (15), women's outdoor track & field (22), and softball (9) were all second on the conference in number of selections. No Haverford team ranked outside of the top three for the Fords in their sport group as men's outdoor track & field had 17 student-athletes honored while 13 baseball players also joined in the academic honors.

Of those student-athletes who were named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, Haverford led the way with three scholar-athletes of the year. The Centennial Conference Scholar-Athletes of the Year were picked based upon juniors and seniors who maintained the highest cumulative GPA in their sport while also earning all-conference recognition at least once during their careers. Brandon Jenkins (baseball), Ashley Sisto (softball), and Clara Farrehi (women's tennis) were each repeat winners after earning that same accolade at the conclusion of their junior seasons.
