Visitors Guide

Welcome to Haverford College!

Haverford's location is ideal for students with athletic interests. The 30-plus colleges in the Philadelphia area and the focus on competition within the Centennial Conference offer varied scheduling and minimum travel time. Teams travel to other regions during college vacations, but are rarely away from campus overnight or miss more than a few classes during an academic term.  This page should provide all the logistical information you need for your visit to the College.  If you have any further questions please ask the coach with whom you are in contact or call the Athletic Office: 610-896-1117/-1120.

Parking

During normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) all visitors attending athletic events should park in the PECO Lot. If visitors are attending an athletic event outside of normal business hours, which would be after 5 p.m. Monday though Friday and on the weekends, then they may park in the PECO Lot, South Lot and any available space along Walton Road. NO BUSES ARE PERMITTED IN THE PECO LOT AND SHOULD ONLY PARK IN THE REAR OF THE SOUTH PARKING LOT. To see the location of these lots, please visit our campus map.

Tailgating

Any visiting team wishing to tailgate after an athletic competition must do so in the rear of the South Parking Lot. If a visiting team is seeking an indoor space for a postgame tailgate, they must contact Megan Tustin, Athletic Facilities Manager and Director of Game Day Operations, at mtustin@haverford.edu or 610-896-1125, prior to the event to inquire about availability.

Artificial Noisemakers

By Centennial Conference and NCAA rule, the use of artificial noisemakers at all NCAA athletic competitions is prohibited during play.
