HAVERFORD COLLEGE DEPARTMENT of ATHLETICS COMPLIANCE and ELIGIBILITY

In order to be eligible to participate on a varsity team at Haverford College, you must complete paperwork required by both Haverford and the NCAA.

 

RETURNING STUDENT-ATHLETES

FRESHMEN/TRANSFERS/FIRST TIME ATHLETES

  • Medical Clearance Requirement (DUE August 1)
  • Orthopedic Screening
    • Conducted on campus by team physicians / Scheduled by Head ATC
    • Contact Sports: m&w soccer, field hockey, volleyball, m&w basketball, softball, baseball

ALL STUDENT-ATHLETES, except cricket & squash players, must complete the following NCAA forms each year before they compete in varsity athletics. The athletic director will hold a special meeting with sports teams at the beginning of the year to complete the forms.

  • Buckley Amendment Consent/ Waiver Form

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS (only the first year playing a sport)

MINORS

Until your forms have been received and reviewed and you have officially been issued clearance, you will not be eligible to participate in practices and/or competitions.
