James Kenyon enters his ninth season as the Director of Athletic Facilities and Game Operations and Assistant Compliance Coordinator for Haverford Athletics in 2017.  Kenyon is responsible for scheduling all activities and events that occur in Haverford’s athletic facility spaces. In addition, he manages all game day operations, including facility setup and breakdown, student workers and additional game day personnel.  

Kenyon serves as tournament director for all of Haverford’s home postseason contests and is tasked with organizing and submitting all postseason bid proposals to the NCAA. In addition, Kenyon also serves as Assistant Compliance Coordinator, assisting the Compliance Coordinator with eligibility and recruiting matters.

In addition to NCAA postseason event tournament experience at the Division I and Division III levels, he serves as an operation assistant for the Penn Relays and assisted with the 113th US Open at Haverford’s Merion Golf Club.

Prior to Haverford College, Kenyon served as an Athletics Operations Assistant at Drexel University, where he graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Sport Management in 2009.

Previously, Kenyon also held roles with the Rocky Run YMCA, Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Soul, Camden Riversharks and the Temple Football program.

Kenyon earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport and Recreation Management from Temple in 2006.
