Mission Statement

The Haverford College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is an organization of student-athlete leaders who represent the best interests of the student-athlete experience at Haverford College, within the Centennial Conference, and within the NCAA Division III. SAAC is dedicated to promoting excellence in academics and athletics, sportsmanship, citizenship and volunteerism while serving a liaison function between the College’s student-athletes and the athletic administration, as well as the broader community. We are committed to helping to foster a community rooted in diversity and inclusion, while always maintaining the values of trust, concern, and respect.

SAAC intends to enhance the student-athlete experience at Haverford College and encourages input and feedback from the student body as a whole, regarding any issues that need to be addressed or ideas that should be considered in pursuit of continual growth and improvement.

Expectations

Bi-weekly morning meetings
Available to attend conference meetings twice a year (7hrs on a Sunday)
Available to attend NCAA meeting once a year
Flexibility to plan events on campus
Additional expectations determined on an annual basis
