HAVERFORD, Pa. - Junior pitcher Tommy Bergjans continues to pile up the postseason honors after another strong year for the Haverford College baseball team. Bergjans broke the career and single-season records for strikeouts and wins in 2014 and was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and D3baseball.com All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Teams on Wednesday.

Bergjans has now been selected to an all-region team for a second consecutive season after finishing ninth in the nation with a 1.08 ERA. The Centennial Conference Pitcher of the Year led the league in strikeouts and broke his own school record by fanning 96 batters this season.

After picking up the win in the Centennial championship game, Bergjans went on to pitch against the area's top seed Moravian College in the first round of the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional.
