William Bannard '14 will return for his thrid season as the assistant coach of the Haverford College baseball team in 2017-18. The former Fords shortstop wrapped up his stellar senior season in 2014 as the Centennial Conference Tournament MVP after collecting nine hits and playing outstanding defense.  He led the conference in stolen bases with 26 and finished second on the team in on-base percentage.

During his junior campaign, Bannard was honored as an All-Centennial Conference honorable mention after posting a .373 batting average, seventh-highest in the conference. His .479 on-base percentage led the team and was the fifth-best in the league.

Bannard finished his career third in assists (371), fifth all-time in walks (81), tied for eighth in stolen bases (58) and 12th in on-base percentage (.433).
