HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College Cricket program will play seven total matches this fall, with six of those coming at home on Cope Field. The slate includes four weekends of home contests on Cope Field throughout the months of September and October.
The Haverford XI begins its season with an early season showdown at the historic Merion Cricket Club on Saturday, September 10. The matchup with cross-town rival Merion comes before a Sunday matinee against the Terrapins of the University of Maryland (Sept. 11).
The next weekend of action sees the Fords in action against British Officers Cricket Club (Sept. 18) and the Fords then host both WPCC (Sept. 24) and the Quakers of Penn (Sept. 25) to wrap up the first month of the season.
A pair of October matches finish the fall portion of the slate, with Haverford welcoming the XI from Columbia, as the Lions visit on October 1 before the fall finale against Germantown Cricket Club (Oct. 2).
The date and time for the annual fall alumni contest is still to be finalized.
