CHANDLER, Ariz. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has released its Division III 2013 all-region teams and Haverford College senior forward Bryn Bissey has been tabbed for the Longstreth/NFHCA All-South Region second team.
Bissey was announced on Monday, Nov. 11 as a first-team selection to the All-Centennial Conference squad.
Haverford advanced into the semifinal round of the Centennial's 2013 postseason tournament, an achievement reached for the fifth straight season.
A starter in all 19 games this fall Bissey finished her final season at Haverford second in goals (10) and third in points (22) and game-winning goals (2).
Over her four-year career at Haverford Bissey accumulated the second-most game-winners (8) in program history and ranks fifth in goals (33) and is tied for fifth in points (74). She is also tied for first in games played (76).
Bissey was one of 13 players from the Centennial to earn all-South region honors.
