Lauren DiValentino (nee Luft) returns for her seventh season as an assistant in 2017 with the Haverford College field hockey team.

DiValentino is by no means a newcomer to the local field hockey scene. After finishing an impressive scholastic career at Archbishop Wood High School, DiValentino went on to play at Saint Joseph’s University while pursuing a degree in elementary and special education.

A standout forward for the Hawks, DiValentino was a three-time All-Atlantic 10 Conference honoree, two-time All-Atlantic 10 Tournament player, two-time All-Philadelphia player and made the Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team. The team leader in assists for two seasons, she currently ranks second in SJU program history in career assists.

DiValentino's coaching experience also includes three years at Archbishop Wood High School and one at Wissahickon High School.  Focusing primarily on the offense and goalie, she brings an enthusiastic approach to instruction.

Currently residing in Horsham, Pa., DiValentino is an autistic support teacher in the Philadelphia School District.
