Nicole McCreight has been an assistant coach with the Haverford College field hockey team since the 2012 season. A 2011 graduate of Saint Joseph’s University, McCreight was a four-year player for the Hawks. While at St. Joseph’s, she was mentored by Jackie Cox who was an assistant coach with that team until being named head coach at Haverford for the 2010 season. McCreight enjoyed a standout high school career at nearby Merion Mercy Academy and also coached the FSC Club team for two years while in college.

The Havertown, Pa., native capped her collegiate career with a stellar senior season as she paced Saint Joseph’s in goals and finished second in assists. McCreight’s impressive play drew recognition from several levels as she was named the squad’s most outstanding player, first-team All-Atlantic 10 and to the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association 2010 Division I Mid-Atlantic All-Region second team. She additionally earned the distinction of being the first Saint Joseph’s field hockey player to be selected as the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year.

McCreight also attended the 107th Philadelphia Sports Writer's Awards Banquet to be honored as a Big 5 field hockey representative for Saint Joseph's.
