HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford College men's basketball coach Patrick Doherty has announced dates for the upcoming Haverford Hoops Boys Basketball Camp as well as the program's Fall Prospect Clinic. Both the camp and the clinic will take place in the Calvin Gooding Arena on the Haverford Campus.
The Haverford Hoops Boys Basketball Camp will take place on July 16-20, 2018. The camp is open to boys entering grades 1-8 (ages 6-14) and will be staffed by Coach Doherty, his assistant coaches, as well as current and former members of the Haverford basketball program. The camp will feature drills and skill work, as well as competitive 1v1, 3v3, and 5v5 games.
Per Coach Doherty, "Our primary focus is to create a camp experience that is safe, active, fun, and instructive for all campers. We aim to make our camps an integral part of the men's basketball program here at Haverford College, and we'll do everything we can to create a great experience for our campers."
Cost for the camp is $250 and all campers will receive a Haverford Basketball t-shirt.

Coach Doherty and the Haverford College Men's Basketball program will also be hosting a Fall Prospect Clinic on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is open to players entering grades 10-12 who aspire to play at the college level. The clinic will feature drills and skill work as well as 3v3 and 5v5 play.
Per Coach Doherty, "The clinic will be run as if each participant is a current member of our program, and all participants should expect high quality instruction, competition, and the opportunity to get to know our coaching staff as well as current and former players."
Cost for the clinic is $60 and will include a t-shirt. Registration deadline for the clinic is Friday, August 31.

Head coach Patrick Doherty is in his second season at the helm of the Fords in 2018-19. In his first season leading the Fords, Doherty guided the team to its most wins since the 2013-14 season and saw his squad match its highest finish in the Centennial Conference standings since the 2010-11 campaign.
The Fords, who posted the team's highest scoring average in nearly 20 years and shattered the school record for three-pointers made in a season, appear poised to improve upon all those marks in the coming year as they return each of the team's top 11 scorers for at least one more season.
