Jared Seltzer was named an assistant coach for the Haverford College men’s basketball team prior to the 2017-18 season. Seltzer comes to the Fords after a standout playing career at the University of Rochester. Garnering first-team All-UAA and third-team All-East Region honors during his senior season as a unanimous selection for team captain of the Yellowjackets, he was also twice named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court and was a three-time member of Rochester’s Dean’s List.

In addition to his playing career, the Berwyn, Pa. native has spent time as a camp counselor at the Herb Magee Basketball Camps, the University of Rochester Summer Camps, and the Sky High Basketball Camps. He also worked as a camp counselor for his alma mater, Conestoga High School.

Seltzer graduated from Rochester in 2016 with a degree in Psychology and Business. He works full-time as a national healthcare recruiter for The Judge Group.
