Title: Assistant Coach-Epee

Former team captain Eric Gardner ’17 returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach for the epee squad the year following his graduation. Gardner was a two-year captain for the Fords who won individual MACFA Championships in epee during the 2014 and 2017 seasons. A four-time MACFA medalist, he placed third during the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

Fencing the epee “A” slot during each of his four seasons, Gardner was a Mid-Atlantic Division I NCAA Regional finalist during the 2015 season where he earned the right to hold the “at-large” seat to the NCAA Championships. He graduated from Haverford with a degree in psychology and currently works as a Cognitive Trainer for LearningRx.
