HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's lacrosse team welcomed back 27 former student-athletes to take part in its Alumni Game this past weekend on Swan Field. Playing the even graduation years against the odd graduation years, the game went to a Braveheart finished where the even team prevailed.
Alumni participating in Saturday's game included: Colin Bathory '99, Alex Baldassano '03, Mike Distler '04, Eric Carlson '04, Matt Handel '04, Matt Thorne-Fitzgerald '04, Shane Hafer '04, John Magovern '04, Jamey Van Opstal '09, Matt Starke '10, Brian Fleishhacker '10, Max Hjelm '11, Travis Gregory '11, Robert Breckinridge '11, Myles Monaghan '11, Kiley Norton '11, Joe Banno '12, Alex Douglas '12, Will Sangree '12, Henry Millson '13, John Schipper '13, David Block '13, Sage Disch '13, David Whitcomb '13, Jordan Hitchcock '14, Hunter Witmer '14, and Nathan Becker '14.
In addition to the aforementioned alumni, assistant coach Bill Northcutt served as the game referee while Chris Norton '80, Spencer Ware '01, Leks Gerlak '11, and Jory Fong '11 were also on campus over the weekend.
