Centennial Conference release

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Ethan Donlon has been named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in his career after making 23 saves during the Fords' 11-5 win against Baldwin Wallace. Donlon stopped 82.1% of the shots he faced in the victory to help the Haverford College men's lacrosse team to its first win of the season.

Donlon's 23 saves in that victory matched his career high which he set last year against then-No. 10 Dickinson to earn the first CC Defensive Player of the Week honor of his career. Donlon also earned player of the week accolades from the conference last year after making 19 saves against then-No. 10 Ursinus during that road victory.

In addition to his 23 saves, Donlon also led the Fords with three ground balls and two caused turnovers during the win. Haverford's junior was making his return to the starting lineup against Baldwin Wallace. In his four starts this season, Donlon has made 57 saves and has posted a 62.6% save percentage. His 12 ground balls this season are just one off of the team lead.

Donlon was an honorable mention All-Centennial Conference goalie for the Fords last year after taking over the starting duties midway through his sophomore season. He was additionally named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll and was twice named to the USILA National Team of the Week during his 2019 campaign.
