Donald Clemens made the transition into college coaching for the Haverford College men’s lacrosse team in 2019 after several successful seasons at the prep level. Prior to joining the Fords, Clemens served as the head JV coach and varsity assistant coach at Strath Haven High School (2014-18) where he helped that team to three straight state playoff appearances, culminating in a runner-up finish in 2018. In addition to his work with the Strath Haven defense, Clemens has also spent time as an assistant coach at Parkland High School and with the Providence Road Lacrosse club team.

During his collegiate playing career, Clemens was a four-year starter on defense and two-year captain at DeSales. He graduated from DeSales with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and is a currently a fourth-grade teacher in the William Penn School District.
