D3Soccer.com Poll

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's soccer team is once again receiving votes in this week's D3Soccer.com national poll. The Fords (2-1-1) received 17 voting points in what was the second poll of the regular season.

Haverford's only match from this past week resulted in a scoreless draw against visiting Wilkes. The Fords controlled the tempo of that match for the majority of the afternoon and finished with a commanding 32-14 advantage in shots. Nevertheless, 10 saves from the Wilkes goalkeeper kept Haverford off the scoreboard.

Men's soccer will certainly have its chances to make an impression on the voters this week as the Fords take on a pair of nationally-ranked teams. On Wednesday, Haverford will battle with a Rowan side that is ranked No. 21 in this week's D3Soccer.com Poll. That match will start at 4 p.m. on Walton Field.

Centennial Conference play opens this weekend for the Fords as the 2018 Centennial Conference Champions and winners of three of the last four conference titles battle preseason favorite Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. Johns Hopkins is ranked No. 7 in this week's D3Soccer.com poll. That match is slated for a 6 p.m. start on Saturday, September 21.
