Title: Assistant Coach
Hometown: Haverford '01

A former captain of the Haverford College men’s soccer team, Campbell Palfrey ’01 returns to his alma mater as an assistant coach where he will be directly responsible for the goalkeepers. During his time in goal for the Fords, Palfrey was a two-time All-Centennial Conference selection, earning first-team honors in 1999 and second-team accolades in his senior season. He went on to be named an NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region goalkeeper in his final year at Haverford.

Palfrey graduated and still ranks second in career wins (35), goalie games played (62), and goalie games started (56) at Haverford. He also ranked second in school history with 264 total saves. He recorded a 1.33 goals against average throughout his career as the Fords posted a 35-15-4 record when he was the goalie of record during his four seasons.

His work with the goalies has paid immediate dividends as Sam Miller was named an honorable mention All-Centennial Conference goalie on his way to helping the Fords capture their second straight Centennial Conference Championship. Haverford went on to the second round of the NCAA Tournament as a regional host.

A 2001 graduate of Haverford College with a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature, Palfrey went on to receive his master’s degree in international relations at Johns Hopkins University and the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Italy. He is currently employed as a Vice President with The Rapidan Group where he advises corporate leaders on energy market risks.
