Men's Squash Beats Dickinson

CARLISLE, Pa. – The Haverford College men's squash team defeated the Dickinson Red Devils 9-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The Fords did not drop a game in any of the ladder positions to the Red Devils. Junior captain Nathan Vestrich-Shade dropped just 13 points at the No. 1 ladder position to score his first victory of the season. Sophomore Aaron Horwitz won 11-7, 11-7, 11-2 at the No. 2 ladder position. Junior captain Laurenson Ward was an 11-3, 11-5, 11-2 winner. Freshman Peter Dudley was victorious by an 11-7, 11-3, 11-4 score while junior Will Greer lost just six points.

Senior Zach Kaden had just four points scored on him. Freshman Zach Cole tallied an 11-2, 11-2, 11-1 conquest. Sophomore Chris Hoogstraten picked up an 11-2, 11-4, 11-3 decision while junior Alex Egilman did not drop a point in his first two games.

Haverford is off to its best start at 3-1 since the 2012-13 season. The Fords will take on NYU (12:30 p.m.) and Fordham (2:30 p.m.) next Saturday at Blair Academy.
