Robert Kacergis returns to the Haverford Squash for his third season as an assistant coach in 2018-19.

In his first season as an assistant coach, the Fords captured a program-record 15 victories and a No. 33 national ranking by taking the Chaffee Cup at the CSA Team Championships. Last season, the Fords finished with their highest national ranking since the 2004-05 season, clocking in at No. 28 to finish the year.

Kacergis was a founding member and president of the Cornell University Squash Club.  Since graduation, he has join and is an active member of both Berwyn Squash and Fitness and Gywnedd Racquet Club.  He is avid singles and doubles league player, competing in local and national tournaments.  He is currently the reigning Gwyenedd Singles Champion, the Philadelphia Under-40 doubles champion, and the National B Mixed Doubles Champion.  Starting in September of 2017, he is the Vice President of the Philadelphia Squash Racquet Association.

A 2012 graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering, Kacergis works as a Product Owner at SEI in Oaks, Pa. working on delivering new solutions for portfolio managers.
