SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Haverford College's men's tennis team put up a fight Sunday afternoon but the Fords were downed by ninth-ranked Kenyon College, 9-0, in a non-conference match-up hosted at Swarthmore College.

The loss drops Haverford's record to 3-2 while the Lords improve to 10-4 with their victory.

Luis Acaba and Sloan Millman fought game by game at No. 1 doubles with Kenyon's Tim Rosenstel and Sam Geir. The Lords pair finally subdued the Haverford duo with a 9-7 win.

The tandem of Andy Dougherty and Devin Van Dyke also traded wins at No. 3 for the Fords but Kenyon's Colin Haas and Tristan Kaye were finally able to prevail with an 8-6 win.

Next up for Haverford is another non-conference outing as the Fords welcome Kalamazoo College to the Bramall Courts at 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
