What is your favorite team experience?
I wouldn't say that it's my favorite experience, but my most memorable team experience was when our bus got stuck on the way home from Gettysburg. It was getting dark and we were all tired from the match, but worst of all, our bus got stuck right in front of the memorial of the Battle of Gettysburg (or so I had been told by my teammates). We tried pushing the bus for like 30 minutes but it didn't do anything so we called the police and five police cars showed up just to help us. When we got back to Haverford it was almost midnight. I just remember some of my teammates doing online assignments that were due at midnight on their phone in the dark.

Why did you choose to play a sport in college?
I've been playing a sport my whole life. I just would not know what to do with my time if I don't have practice after classes. I also feel like I am able to escape from the reality when I am playing tennis.

What does being a student-athlete mean to you?
Being a student-athlete requires discipline. Practices and matches consume a significant amount of time, and sometimes I have to miss out on plans, but the whole experience makes it worth it. Also, because I have limited amount of time, it makes me more efficient.

What makes Haverford unique?
Haverford is very small. I think we all go through a phase where we get tired of seeing the same people over and over again, but at the end of the day; it's really nice to know everyone and feel comfortable around everyone. In one word, Haverford is very homey.

What advice would you give a high school student considering Haverford?
My advice is to come and visit Haverford during the school year, if possible. Obviously, Haverford is very unique and not for everyone so it's important for a prospective student to really get an idea of the Haverford atmosphere.
