Arboleda Secures CC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

Full Centennial Conference Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford first-year Marko Arboleda was named the Centennial Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference office announced in a release on Tuesday morning.

Arboleda went undefeated in singles play (5-0) over spring break, helping the Fords to a 4-1 team record in Florida. The rookie logged a win at the second flight over North Central before rattling off four consecutive wins at the top position, including a win over Nicolas Luis of Ithaca, a regionally ranked player last year.

He also added a pair of doubles wins with teammate Aiden Kim. Haverford is now on a four-match win streak after the stint in Central Florida.

Arboleda has compiled a 10-3 singles record to begin his collegiate career, including an 8-2 mark in his last 10 matches dating back to the fall tournament slate. He has also added seven doubles wins.

The Fords now take some well-earned time off from competition, returning to action on Friday, March 29, against Stevens, with the match set to commence at 4 p.m. at Haverford's Bramall and Marshall courts.
