LINCOLN, Neb. – The Haverford College men's indoor track & field team finished in a tie for 15th place at the NCAA 2014 Division III indoor national meet with senior Christopher Stadler earning another All-American certificate Saturday evening on the final day of the two-day championship in the Bob Devaney Sports Center at the University of Nebraska.

Stadler and teammate Charlie Marquardt ran in the final individual event of the meet, the 3,000-meter run, with Stadler crossing the finish in a fifth-place time of 8 minutes, 16.63 seconds which also breaks the Centennial Conference record. His top-eight finish earns the senior his sixth all-America certificate. Marquardt, only a sophomore, finished 11th (8:25.08) in a race won by North Central (Ill.) College's John Crain in a time of 8:10.40.

Both Stadler and Marquardt were part of the distance medley relay quartet, along with Jonathan Yellets and Gebby Keny, which on Friday night raced to a runner-up finish to earn all four Fords all-American honors.

In the team race Haverford accumulated 12 points to finish as the Centennial Conference's highest placing team. Dickinson College and Johns Hopkins University were tied for 24th with eight points.

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse ran away with the team title after registering 63.5 points to easily outdistance runner-up Wis.-Eau Claire which finished second with 48 points.
