HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's indoor track and field team is ranked No. 18 in the second weekly Division III Men's Indoor Track & Field National Team Computer Rankings, the organization announced in a release on Tuesday evening.

In this week's rankings, Haverford amassed 41.52 points, climbing 65 spots to enter the Top 25 for the first time this season. The rankings jump is attributed to Haverford's stellar 3,000 meter performance with Dylan Gearinger, Greg Morgan and Henry Woods each posting top times that all score within the top 15 marks so far in the 2017-18 indoor campaign.

Gearinger's 3,000 meter time of 8:21.73 is the fastest in NCAA Division III so far this season after an adjustment for track size and is the sixth best 3,000 meter time in the illustrious history of the Haverford program.

North Central (Ill.), MIT, Wisconsin-Lacrosse, Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Mount Union, Wisconsin-Whitewater, Dubuque, Benedictine (Ill.), Christopher Newport and Rowan make up the top 10 ranked squads in Division III.

Men's indoor track & field will next be in action on Saturday, February 3. Athletes will be split between the Tufts Invitational in Medford, Mass. and the Frank Colden Invitational at Ursinus. Both events are slated to begin at 10 a.m.
