HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College Men's Indoor Track & Field team checks in at No. 13 in the fourth weekly Division III Men's Indoor Track & Field National Team Computer Rankings, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday's release marked the first time that preseason marks were thrown out in the non-combined events, leaving only marks recorded this season to be calculated.

In addition to the No. 13 national ranking, Haverford also holds the second spot in the Mideast Region behind conference foe Johns Hopkins.  In "event squad" rankings, Haverford's contingent is listed as the fourth-ranked mile, second-ranked 3,000 meter grouping and second ranked 5,000 meter squad.

Haverford's ranking is based on strong performances from Dylan Gearinger, Greg Morgan, Graham Peet and Henry Woods.

Gearinger has recorded the fastest 3,000-meter time this season as well as the seventh fastest 5,000-meter time and the 16th fastest mile time. Those marks came in consecutive weeks as Gearinger rewrote Haverford's all-time top 10 lists en route to three straight Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the week honors.

In the 3,000-meter, Morgan recorded the sixth fastest time in Division III this season while Woods had the 13th best showing.  Morgan had the sixth-fastest mile after a conversion for track size while Peet notched the 12th-fastest 5,000 meter time.

The program's highest ever national ranking in the computer-rank era came during the 2010-11 season when the Fords were slotted third in the nation during the second week of the season. Haverford finished ninth at the 2012-13 indoor national championships.

North Central (Ill.), Mount Union, MIT, Rowan, Wisconsin-Lacrosse, Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Wisconsin-Whitewater, Christopher Newport, Benedictine (Ill.) and Saint John Fisher make up the top 10 teams in the nation according to the computer rankings.

Men's indoor track & field is back in action on Saturday, February 17 at the Keogh Invitational inside the Alumni Field House. Events are slated to begin at 11:30 a.m. in the final tune-up before the Centennial Conference Championships.
