HAVERFORD, Pa. - For the second time this season, Haverford senior Greg Morgan has picked up Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Week honors after establishing the Top Division III mark in an event. This week, at home inside the Alumni Field House, Morgan sprinted to an impressive mile showing that ranked as the best in Division III so far during the 2018-19 campaign, after a track adjustment.

Morgan posted a time of 4:10.36 in the mile, a new-career best showing. The time converts to a 4:07.21 for NCAA qualifying purposes, giving Morgan the top Division III mark this year. Morgan's time was also the ninth-best individual mark in Haverford indoor program history. The Hollidsaysburg, Pa. product had previously established the best 3,000 meter time in the nation just two weeks ago, a time that still holds as the fastest in Division III in 2018-19.

Morgan was named Haverford's top performer at the annual Seamus McElligott Invitational, which is named in memory of Haverford's six-time national champion. The two-time track All-American picked up Centennial Track Athlete of the Week honors for the fifth time in his illustrious Haverford career, with four of the designations coming during the indoor campaign.

Haverford is back in action this weekend with a split schedule. On Saturday, February 2, a group of Fords will head to the Frank Colden Invitational at Ursinus, while another group will compete in the Villanova Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Complex on Staten Island.
