Bregman and Stadler garner weekly awards

LANCASTER, Pa. - Haverford College men's track and field athletes Avi Bregman and Christopher Stadler were each recognized for their performances on the oval over the weekend. Bregman was honored as the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III Athlete of the Week, while Stadler was awarded the Centennial Conference  Athlete of the Week.

Bregman and Stadler both competed at the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton University this past weekend. The senior's time was the fastest in all of Division-III this year and the 10th fastest ever in Division-III history.

On Saturday, Stadler ran in the 5,000-meter race and placed fifth overall when he crossed the finish line in 14:01.62. The Belmont, Mass. native finished the event with not only the fastest time in D-III this season, but it was the seventh best time in the history of Division-III competition.

The Fords will continue their spring season by hosting the Haverford/Widener Dual Meet on Tuesday, April 22.
