HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford's distance contingent split up between the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton and the Widener Invitational on Friday evening, taking some top times in the process as personal bests were established at both events. Henry Woods and Liam Lynch each posted personal-best marks that also rank as the best in the Centennial Conference in their respective distances to headline a standout night for the Fords on the track.

At Princeton, four runners competed for the Fords in the 5000m with Henry Woods leading the pack with an 11th place finish. Woods was third amongst Division III finishers, crossing in a personal-best time of 14:27.22. The time easily eclipsed his previous personal-best mark at the Danny Curran Invitational on March 31. The time is also the top Centennial Conference mark this season.

Dylan Gearinger finished in 19th with a time of 14:33.66, topping his previous personal-best of 14:54.86 at the Danny Curran Invitational by more than 20 seconds. Ryan Herlihy was the 50th overall finisher in a time of 15:08.34 while Jimmy Gorman crossed in 53rd with a time of 15:16.30.

In Princeton, Liam Lynch finished the 800m in a time of 1:53.47, a new personal best and the 27th best time in Division III this season. The time, good for 42nd overall, is the fastest in the Centennial Conference this season thus far.

In the 3000m steeplechase, Graham Peet finished in a career-best 9:24.56, eclipsing a 9:27.74 performance at the 2016 Chester Quarry Classic. The mark was good for 15th in a field that included a mixture of runners from all three NCAA divisions and NAIA. Peet's mark is second in the Centennial Conference thus far in 2017. James Stadler finished the steeplechase in 24th, crossing in 9:33.27, also a career-best.

Greg Morgan was the lone Fords entrant in the 1500m, finishing in 42nd place overall with a time of 3:55.99.
