HAVERFORD, Pa. – A slate of eight regular season meets await the Haverford College men's and women's outdoor track & field teams this spring. Perennial powers on both sides, the Fords are currently in the midst of their indoor seasons, but will switch over to outdoor competition at the end of March.

The outdoor season for both teams opens on Friday, March 30 at the Danny Curran Invitational. That meet, hosted by Widener, will carry over to Saturday. That competition will mark the first of three trips to Widener before the postseason as Haverford is also scheduled to compete at the Chester Quarry Classic (Apr. 14) and Widener Invitational (Apr. 20-21).

Haverford will also make multiple trips to Princeton for the Sam Howell (Apr. 6) and Larry Ellis Invitationals (Apr. 20). Those meets are both Friday night events. During the month of April the team will add a trek to West Chester for the Bill Butler Invitational on Saturday, April 7. The Fords could also send individuals to compete at the Penn Relays which are set for Thursday, April 26 through Saturday, April 28.

The lone home meet for the Fords will be on Tuesday, April 24 as the Haverford Invitational returns to Johnson Track and the state-of-the-art throwing center.

The Centennial Conference Championships are set for Friday, May 4 through Sunday, May 6 at Ursinus. The men placed second at the outdoor conference championships last spring while the women were fifth in the team standings. Last chance meets at Swarthmore (May 14) and Widener (May 17) are also on the schedule for any final qualifications to the NCAA Division III Championships. Those NCAA Championships will be hosted by Wisconsin Lacrosse this spring, running from Thursday, May 24 through Saturday, May 24.
