Currently, Gearinger is ranked fourth nationally in the 5,000 meters, eighth nationally in the 1,500 meters and 14th nationally in the 10,000 meters.

Gearinger will focus on the 5,000 meters in La Crosse, Wisconsin this weekend at the NCAA Division III National Championships. The finals-only race will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Gearinger is the fourth overall seed and the top seeded athlete that will be competing in just one event.
