Track & Field Squads Announce 2020 Outdoor Schedules

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's and women's track & field teams have announced their 2020 outdoor schedules. Both teams will run very similar slates throughout the spring, including the team's annual home meet on Monday, April 20. Ursinus will serve as the host of the Centennial Conference Championship meet, while the NCAA National Championships for qualified individuals will be held in Rochester, New York.

The outdoor season begins with the first of three regular season meets at Widener as the Danny Curran Invitational is set for Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28. The teams will return to Widener's campus for the Chester Quarry Classic (Apr. 11) and Widener Invitational (Apr. 17-18). The Fords will also compete in West Chester's Bill Butler Invitational (Apr. 4) and Princeton's Larry Ellis Invitational (Apr. 17) throughout the early weeks of the outdoor season.

Haverford's home invitational is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, April 20 and will be just two weeks before the championship season gets underway. Prior to the conference meet, the women will run at the TCNJ Lions Invitational on Saturday, April 25, while the Penn Relays are set for Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 25.

The 2020 Centennial Conference Championships are being hosted by Ursinus and will run from Friday, May 1 through Sunday, May 3. Both the men's and women's teams placed fourth at the outdoor conference championships a season ago. Should it become necessary, the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet is scheduled for Monday, May 11 for any final qualifications to the NCAA Division III Championships. The NCAA Division III Championships will be held in Rochester, New York from Thursday, May 21 through Saturday, May 23.
