Jeffrey Ainsley ’16, a former team captain and Centennial Conference Champion for the Haverford College men’s indoor and outdoor track & field teams, now lends his experience to his alma mater as an assistant coach. Competing in the heptathlon and decathlon during his career, Ainsley specialized in sprints and hurdles where he was a seven-time Centennial Conference Champion between the two seasons.

Three of those Centennial Conference Championships came in the 60 meter hurdles where Ainsley also broke the school record in that event with a time of 8.33 seconds. During the indoor season, he also set the school record in the heptathlon with 4,640 points in 2016 and was a conference champ in that event as a first-year. During his outdoor seasons, Ainsley set the school record in the 110 meter hurdles (14.73 seconds) and decathlon (6,225 points). He was the 2016 conference champion in the 110 meter hurdles and a part of championship relay teams in both indoor and outdoor track. On top of those accomplishments, Ainsley also holds top 10 marks in school history in both the long jump and high jump.
