No. 18 Men's Cross Country Opens With Alumni/Open Race

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's cross country team had another very strong showing at its Alumni/Open race with 32 alumni returning for the team's annual kickoff meet last Saturday afternoon on campus.

Saturday's alumni/open race featured a total of 63 runners between the varsity, alumni and open entrants into the field. Ryan Kredell put forth an impressive season debut to capture the overall title, with a time of 14:42.5 to pace the field. In fact, the first eight finishers were all from the varsity squad, a sign of strong things to come from an experienced Haverford roster poised to make some noise in the postseason races after capturing both the Centennial Conference and Metro Regional championships a year ago.
