HAVERTOWN, Pa. – Haverford College women's basketball coach Bobbi Morgan and Cabrini College women's hoop coach Kate Pearson will conduct the 16th annual Haverford Girls' Basketball Camp June 30-July 3 at the Haverford Township Community Recreation and Environmental Center. The fully air conditioned center, located at the Haverford Reserve, features four courts and 12 baskets for team play.
The camp is open to girls entering grades 1-9 and will cover all aspects of fundamental play. Daily sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and feature stations, individual and team skill work, three on three, five on five and skills contests as well as guest speakers from local Division I, II and III colleges. The camp program is designed to meet the needs of both the beginner and the more experienced player. Campers will be grouped by age and ability.
Enrollment for the camp is limited and all previous camps have been filled to capacity so players are encouraged to register early to secure a spot. Cost for the camp is $135 and sibling discounts are available. Campers may fill out a registration form or register online through Haverford Township after April 1.
