HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's lacrosse team has been recognized as a 2014 Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association. In order to qualify for this academic honor, programs must have a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
In total, 254 schools across the three divisions of the NCAA earned this recognition. Division III had the most schools honored of any level with 125 institutions earning this distinction. This latest academic accolade comes after Haverford placed seven student-athletes on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. That total was the most by any team in the conference.
