Women's Lacrosse Holds Steady at No. 25 in IWLCA Poll

Full IWLCA Poll Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford Women's Lacrosse team (9-3, 3-2 CC) is ranked No. 25 in the IWLCA Division III Coaches Poll for the second straight week, the organization announced in a release on Monday afternoon.

The Fords have suffered only three losses this season and those setbacks have each come to teams ranked in the current top five in the nation. The Fords dropped a Saturday matinee contest to No. 2 and defending national champion Gettysburg this week, but have already eclipsed last season's win total and have won eight of the last 10 contests overall.

The top seven spots in the poll remain unchanged, with Salisbury, Gettysburg, TCNJ, Amherst and Franklin & Marshall rounding out the top five. Tufts and York (Pa.) are sixth and seventh, respectively, while Middlebury moves up one spot to eighth, Mary Washington moves to ninth and Washington and Lee climbs to 10th. Undefeated Mount Union is receiving votes for the second straight week.

The Fords will return to action with a showdown on Swan Field against Washington College (10-2, 5-0 CC) Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
