The Haverford College women's lacrosse team picked up its highest ranked win in program history during the 2019 season as the Fords toppled No. 3 TCNJ by a 12-10 score on Swan Field. Despite Julia Pascarella '21 tallying the opening goal, TCNJ held a 4-1 lead just over seven minutes in. Maeve Gaffney '20 knotted the score at six just over 10 minutes later and the Fords never trailed again for the remainder of the contest. Gaffney was one of four Fords who tallied multiple goals on the evening, including her goal early in the second half which staked Haverford to an 11-7 lead. Rina Rosnow '19 led Haverford with four goals during the nationally-ranked victory while Allie Gibbons '19 and Pascarella also scored multiple goals. That victory helped lift Haverford into the national rankings for the second consecutive season under head coach Kate Zichelli.
