Nicole Tiernan joins the Haverford Women’s Lacrosse coaching staff for the 2018 season.

Tiernan comes to the Fords after a year spent as both a Head Coach and women's lacrosse scholarship athlete at the University of Nottingham  in Nottingham, England.

While abroad, Tiernan received her Master’s degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Medicine from the University of Nottingham. In the summer prior to her move abroad, Tiernan served as Head Coach of the PA Team 2022 at the Ultimate Lacrosse Club in Germantown, Pa. in 2016.

Tiernan was a member of the varsity women’s lacrosse team at Division I Temple, earning All-Big East honors in three consecutive seasons, including a First Team honor in 2015.  

A native of Washington Township, N.J., Tiernan graduated from Temple with her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Pre-Health Professions in May of 2016.
