Lauren Wray is entering her seventh season as Haverford's head women's lacrosse coach in 2018.

In 2017, Haverford went 8-8 as Wray oversaw the senior season of Sarina Manetta and Allie Gibbons, who were named to the IWLCA All-Metro Region team. Manetta put a flourish on her Haverford career by setting the new single-season draw controls program record (64) and the draw controls per game record (4.00).

Her younger sister, Julia, set the Haverford record for single-season assists (37) and single-game assists (6). Haverford finish at or above .500 for the fifth consecutive season and led the Centennial Conference with a program-record 14 players named to the Academic Honor Roll.

The 2016 campaign saw the program win at least 10 games for the fifth time in seven years. The Fords placed 13 players on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll to lead all conference schools.

The 2015 season saw the women's lacrosse team win at least 10 games for the fourth time in six seasons, finishing at 11-8 overall, including victories over NCAA Tournament participants Cabrini and No. 4 Gettysburg.

The 2013 squad established a program single-season mark for Centennial Conference wins (7) and tied the program record for overall wins (13) on its way to entering the Centennial tournament as the third seed—the highest finish in program history.

In 2012, Wray's squad finished at the top of the Centennial Conference in ground balls per game (20.75) as Josie Ferri put the finishing touches on her standout career. Ferri, a 2011 IWLCA third-team All-American, earned All-Metro Region and All-Centennial honors every year of her career. Graduating as the Fords' record holder in draw controls, free position goals and shots on goal, Ferri also merited inclusion to the conference academic honor roll for three-straight seasons and was chosen as the Centennial Conference's nominee for the 2012 NCAA Woman of the Year.

Wray arrived at Haverford after spending the previous two years as an assistant coach at nearby Temple University where she helped guide the Owls to a pair of Atlantic 10 conference tournament appearances.

Prior to her position at Temple, Wray served as the head coach at Cedar Crest College from 2008-09 after spending one season as an assistant at Lafayette College. Wray also founded the Triumph Lacrosse Club in Bethlehem, Pa., in May of 2008 and coached/managed until the fall of 2011.

Wray (nee Gallagher) was a four-year letterwinner at Duke University from 1999-03 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and economics in 2004. Over her career with the Blue Devils she accumulated 140 goals and 53 assists earning All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors in the 2001, 2002 and 2003 seasons and was selected as a three-time Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-American. Wray began her coaching career as an undergraduate assistant with Duke during the 2003-04 season while finishing work on her degree.

In the summer before heading to Duke, Wray played for the United States Under-19 Women's Lacrosse Team which competed at the 1999 World Championships in Perth, Australia. She was later selected to the USA Developmental Squad, training as a member of Team USA with thirty developmental players in the summers from 2001-04.

Wray's husband, Taylor, is the head men's lacrosse coach at St. Joseph's University. The couple has two sons, Jackson and Ryan.
