LANCASTER, Pa. – The Centennial Conference on Monday named Meg Boyer its offensive player of the week for women's soccer after the senior forward notched the game-winning goal in a pair of Haverford College victories.
Boyer netted three goals for the week including the lone goal (video) of the Fords' 1-0 conference win Saturday afternoon over visiting Swarthmore College.
She began her week by scoring the initial two goals in host Haverford's 4-0 league win over Washington College on Wednesday afternoon at Walton Field.
In her past four games, all Haverford wins, Boyer has tallied five goals and registered the game-winner in each.
