Top 10 Tuesday: Women's Soccer Gains At-Large Bid to NCAA Tournament

HAVERFORD, Pa. – It's Top 10 Tuesday! Every Tuesday from now through the end of August, we will take a look back at the Top 10 moments from the 2013-14 academic year. This list was compiled as a way to highlight one of the most successful athletic campaigns in the history of Haverford Athletics, both on the playing field and in the classroom.

Although there were many memorable moments throughout the 2013-14 seasons, we only have 10 summer Tuesdays. For a full list of all the highlights from this past year, be sure to check out the complete list of varsity highlights here. The Tuesday Top 10 will be revealed in chronological order.

Up first is the Haverford women's soccer program and its second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament. After compiling a record of 10-3-6 overall in the regular season, including an unbeaten 7-0-3 mark in Centennial Conference play, the Fords were selected as an at-large bid. Despite playing Keene State very even statistically, the Fords came out on the wrong side of a 2-0 loss in that opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

In spite of the loss, Haverford still racked up at least 10 victories for the fifth straight season. The Fords also made their second straight trip to the Centennial Conference Championship Game in 2013.
