HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's soccer team got seven goals from seven different players during its win over Bryn Mawr on Wednesday. The Fords (9-3-2) scored four times in the first half and three times in the second half.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 16th minute of play as Maryanna Solecki scored her first goal of the season and the second of her career on a pass from Leanne Ludwick. Ludwick set up the goal by beating her defender and playing a cross to the waiting Solecki. Haverford added a second goal in the 21st minute when Abby Letts headed home a corner kick that was played into the box by Sydney West. Letts' goal was the second of her season. West's assist gave her the team lead with her third helper of the season.

Haverford added two more goals from Sofia Licata and Raina Fitzpatrick. Licata's goal in the 27th minute came on a nicely played ball from Fitzpatrick. Licata's goal was the second of her career after she also scored in win against DeSales during her freshman season. Fitzpatrick scored her first goal of the season and sixth of her career after she finished a rebound off the initial shot from Kristen Fiore. Fiore was credited with her third assist of the year to tie for the team lead.

After the halftime break, the Fords added goals from Kendall Logan and Ludwick within the first 13 minutes. Logan's third career goal, her first this season, came following a pass from Solecki. Solecki now has four points this season after recording an assist to go along with her first career game-winning goal.

Ludwick's goal to cap her three point afternoon came after she took the possession away from the Bryn Mawr goalie and finished for the 6-0 advantage. The Fords' final goal of the night came when Anna Dekle converted a penalty kick chance in the 68th minute. Dekle's goal was her team-leading third of the season and was the Fords' first chance at a PK this season.
