HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's soccer team racked up its fifth straight victory on Tuesday afternoon against visiting Immaculata. This time, the Fords (5-1) scored a season-high five goals in the shutout victory. The current five-match winning streak that the Fords are riding represents the 13th time in program history that Haverford has won five straight matches.

Celia Page and Leanne Ludwick both kept their scoring streaks intact with goals on Tuesday. Page led the way with two goals and two assists for a career-high six-point afternoon. The Fords' first-year has now scored in four straight contests. Ludwick scored for the fifth straight contest while dishing out assists on two other goals. Coming into the day leading the Centennial Conference in assists, Saede Eifrig was rewarded with her first goal of the season on her birthday early in the opening half. Lauren Nguyen capped the day by scoring the first goal of her career with just over 10 minutes remaining in regulation.

Eifrig scored the game-winning goal on her special day just 8:12 into the contest following some crafty passing from Page and Ludwick. That finish marked the first game-winning goal of Eifrig's career.

After helping to set up the first goal, Page scored twice in a span of just 2:41 to give her side a 3-0 advantage at the break. Page's first goal came on a rocket shot from outside of the 18 which beat the goalie to the upper right corner. Just under three minutes later, Page was able to volley in a beautiful cross from Ludwick. Page now has five goals through the first six matches of her collegiate career following the first multi-goal game of her season.

Roles were reversed on Haverford's fourth goal as Ludwick and Page once again paired up during the 56th minute of play. This time it was Ludwick who was able to finish a cross into the box for her Centennial Conference-leading seventh goal this season. Ludwick and Page are now ranked first and second in the Centennial Conference with 18 and 13 points, respectively. Ludwick holds the outright conference lead with seven goals and is tied with Eifrig for the lead with four assists. Ludwick's 16th goal of her career tied her with Anna Goldrich '87 for 14th in school history.

The strong showing was capped off by Nguyen beating the keeper on a direct kick from just outside of the 18. Nguyen was denied a goal during the first half as her strong shot ricocheted off the post, but she would not be denied during the 78th minute of play.

Haverford finished the match with a 30-4 advantage in shots, along with an 8-4 edge in corner kick attempts. For the second straight match, Haverford goalie Hannah Friedrich went untested thanks to a strong showing by the backline as the Fords recorded their fourth straight shutout. Immaculata goalie Brooke Shissler finished with 12 saves on the afternoon.

Women's soccer will be back at home this Saturday for its final non-conference match of the season against Alvernia. That contest with the Golden Wolves is set to get underway at 1 p.m. on Walton Field.
