Senior Tributes to each other
With the 2020 fall sports unable to hold traditional Senior Days on campus, the Haverford College Athletic Department is recognizing these seniors in a virtual ceremony, with some special help from their teammates. Today, we celebrate the 2020 Haverford College men's soccer seniors.
Women's Soccer Class of 2021
- 2019 NCAA Tournament Qualifiers (fourth in program history)
- Three Centennial Conference Tournament appearances
- 29-17-8 combined record from 2017 to 2019
- 12-5-2 record on Walton Field during that time
- Program-record eight consecutive victories in September 2019
- Four-time United Soccer Coaches Association Team Academic Award recipient
- Highest team GPA among all Division III NCAA Tournament qualifiers during 2019-20 academic year
- Five-member class combined for 175 career appearances
#19 Ellie Burns • Defense • History major, Religion minor • Evans, Georgia • Augusta Preparatory Day School
- Part of a defense that posted 26 shutouts since 2017
- Played in 12 career games last years as the Fords came within one shutout of tying the school's single-season record
- 2019 Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team
- Three-time Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll
#29 Saede Eifrig • Forward • Anthropology major (Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies concentration) • State College, Pennsylvania • State College Area High School
- Team captain who played in 46 career matches, making 24 starts
- Scored nine goals and recorded 11 assists
- Led the team with five goals as a first-year
- Tallied eight assists, the fourth-most in a single season in school history, in 2019
- Three-time Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll
#2 Lauren Nguyen • Midfield • Biology major, Neuroscience minor • Burke, Virginia • Lake Braddock Secondary School
- Appeared in 30 matches, making 17 of those appearances in 2019
- Scored three goals on just five shots on goal in 2019
- Tallied twice against Ursinus, including a penalty kick goal, while also scoring against Immaculata

#13 Marina Piccolo • Midfield • Economics major • Morristown, New Jersey • Morristown High School
- Team captain
- Appeared in 43 career games, starting the final 18 matches of the 2019 season
- Tallied the first goal of her career during the win 2019 win against Lebanon Valley
- Finished career with four assists, all in Haverford victories, including a helper in the triumph over then-No. 25 Scranton last fall
- Two-time Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll

- Two-year team captain
- Honorable mention All-Centennial Conference (2019)
- Appeared in 44 matches, making 40 starts (including every game during past two seasons)
- Member of the starting XI during 17 of the team's shutouts since 2017, appearing in 23 shutouts total
- Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week in 2019 after back-to-back shutouts against Eastern and Widener
