HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College women's squash team released its 2013-14 schedule on Wednesday afternoon.

The Fords open the season at New York University (NYU) on Nov. 9 before traveling to Johns Hopkins on Nov. 23.

Second-semester action kicks off with the alumnae matches at the Gardner Integrated Athletic Center (GIAC) Squash Courts on Jan. 11. Haverford then heads to Mt. Holyoke College for the Pioneer Valley Invitational beginning on Jan. 17. The two-day tournament sees the Fords play Connecticut College, Colby College, Northeastern University and the host Lyons. Haverford will complete the weekend with a tri-match on Jan. 19 at Yale University where the Fords will do battle with Tufts University and the host Bulldogs.

Haverford will take on Northeastern for the second time in a week at Vassar College on Jan. 25 and then close out the month at Drexel University on Jan. 30.

February starts off with consecutive Saturdays of home matches. Boston College and Bucknell visit on Feb. 1 before NYU and the University of Rochester come to the GIAC on Feb. 8.

The Fords captured the College Squash Association (CSA) E Division title at the CSA team championships last season. Looking to once again end the season with a winning weekend, Haverford will participate in the 2014 CSA national tournament hosted by Princeton University beginning Feb. 21.
