Women's squash battles #15 F&M

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College women's squash team fell 9-0 to 15th-ranked Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday afternoon in the Fords' lone home contest of the first semester.

Haverford (1-1) battled but the Diplomats (1-0) accounted for the Fords' first loss of the season.
Caroline Nightingale, the reigning College Squash Association (CSA) player of the week, and Bethany Simmonds played well in defeat at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.

The Fords, ranked 31st in this week's CSA rankings, return to action on Nov. 23 when they take on host Johns Hopkins University at 11 a.m. before closing out the day with a match against the University of Virginia at 1 p.m.
