Simmonds and Gotuaco Wrap Up Play at CSA Championships

PRINCETON, N. J. – Junior Bethany Simmonds and freshman Isabelle Gotuaco played in their consolation matches during day two of the College Squash Association's (CSA) Individual Championships.

Simmonds lost in the consolation quarterfinals to Charlotte Dewey of Middlebury in three games (11-5, 11-1, 11-0). The junior finished the season with a team-high 13 wins, one shy of the single-season record. She is one of only nine players in program history to win 20 career matches.

Gotuaco fell in her consolation quarterfinal match to Brown University's Mina Shakarasky (11-6, 11-3, 11-3). She finished with nine victories this season with a majority of them coming at the No. 1 position.

The women's squash team's season has now officially come to an end. The team set a new program record with 10 victories and three players with over 10 wins.
